Many local people volunteer their time and effort to make this a better place to live, and the community council would like to support these efforts.

The Community Council is looking to hire a Community Engagement Officer  - this is a part-time role for a motivated individual to support the community organisations of our area to make a meaningful impact to help our community. That might mean to help recruit new volunteers, advertise events, connect groups to funders and help them access further support.

We hope this role could work towards organising a wider summer festival to celebrate Taffs Well and Nantgarw in the coming year.
